Well, we are doing it! After talking about it for almost a full year our NFLL group will be leaving California to travel to Colorado for a 5 day vacation. I have lived with my sister in the central valley of California off and on for four years now but my real home is still in Colorado and I wanted to show my friends why I love my home so much. We leave here in early July for fun in the high country. Our plans include river rafting, alpine sliding, site seeing and a baseball game at famed Coors Field in Denver. This vacation will be our longest time together as a group and has involved a number of logistical problems but we are just so very excited about this trip. It is unfortunate that one member of our group cannot make the break with us but she has wished us well and will follow our wanderings over our blog site just to keep up with us. Like all good friends we recognize that there are situations and circumstances in our lives that can prevent all of us from gathering together for fun. Our obligations to our families come first and so peaches and cream will stay in California to be close to her elderly relatives who need her. She will not be forgotten though – her good wishes follow us everywhere and we are grateful.
