What is the Women's Friendship Network by New Friends Late in Life?
The NFLL (New Friends Late in Life) Women's Friendship Network is a free networking service that hopes to connect women of all ages together for the purpose of developing friendships.

How does the NFLL Women's Friendship Network work?
Women are asked to register their email addresses via the Women's Friendship Network designating a location in which they would like to have friends. This registration is a free service and is protected by various systems to provide privacy and safety.
Through this registry women from the same location can connect via email and discover their common interests and connections with each other. The network acts as a connecting point by gathering women from the same geographical area together over the network. It is then the initiative of each person to determine if they have an interest in furthering a friendship with others. Your identification is protected until such time as you choose to meet with those with whom you would like to develop a friendship.

What the NFLL Women's Friendship Network is not.
The NFLL Women's Friendship Network is not a dating service. It is not a counseling service It is not a social calendar. It is not a religious service and has no political agenda. It is not a site that will promote any product or service other than that which we provide. The NFLL will not sell your name or email address to any other entity.

Why did this get started?
Three years ago 6 women from the central valley of California began meeting for lunches, movies and just some social time. These women got together after meeting each other in a work situation. They were women of all backgrounds and stations in life – the youngest being 45 and the oldest being 65 at the time. Some were married, some divorced, some widowed but all wanted to develop some ties of friendship with interesting women in the area. They discovered a wonderful network of women that cared for each other, socialized with each other and learned from each other and knew they had something very special. Their families and friends were pleased and fascinated with the group and expressed some interest in finding a similar group themselves – thus the NFLL was born.

What can I expect from the NFLL Women's Friendship Network if I register?
No one can make friends for someone else. What the NFLL can do is give you the opportunity to see if there are women in your area that would like to get to know you and for you to know them. Your registration form is simple in that you will be asked your geographical location and your email address. At this point the NFLL will gather all the interested women from your area who have also registered and will send contact information to you. You will then contact as many women as you wish and begin a dialogue. The hope is that you will discover many women in your area who want to develop a friendship.

Although we can now live longer and fuller lives we can also become separated and fragmented in our high tech impersonal world. It is time the high tech world provide us with the means to develop deep abiding friends who can share our interests and ambitions. Let the NFLL be a connecting point for you by helping you discover the potential of friends.
